The Oversized Tee Look Is Still A Thing

After we saw Kanye West – aka Ricardo Tisci’s official ass-kisser – sporting Givenchy’s longline tees, “the oversized tee look” instantly became a thing. Now, the trend is in full bloom as many brands get on board.

Despite the fact buying clothes that fit perfectly and have irrefutable styling will always be the key of an outstanding outfit. This season, why don’t you loosen up and dare to wear a relaxed and bigger tee? – A fresher alternative for your spring wardrobe.

But before you go all Skingraft on me, I’m breaking down a few basic guidelines to accomplish a striking statement longline tee look.

CHOOSE YOUR FIT

Who knew there were so many types of oversized shirts? From skater fit to longline fit, to boxed fit, to oversized and relaxed fit, apparently size does matter. #naughtyface If you’re shorter than average go for the relaxed fit, wear the more sculpted and structured boxed fit for layering.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Don’t go overboard and supersize everything, trust me, there’s not such thing as “homeless chic”. Opt for solid colors, discreet graphics and keep accessories to the minimum. An edgy cap would do the trick!

CASUAL LUXE

Do you know what goes well with an oversized tee? Slim or skinny bottoms! To stay with the luxury sportswear trend pair it with some joggers. – The absolute way to nail this contemporary silhouette.
