Where do the cool kids go to gear up for the upcoming season? If they like bright attire and joyful swimwear, they go to Mr. Turk. I’ve come to love the brand from the first time I came across their Instagram. Since then, it has been recurrent on my insta feed and blog. – It goes without saying I was excited to co-host their party a couple of weeks ago.
Among the dudes that gathered in the newly expanded men’s section of their New York store were Brandon Osorio, Tyler Dean, Mattheus Lian & Jonathan Cross. We enjoyed beats and sipped champagne while sporting the new Mr. Turk Spring 2017.
The collection was inspired by a few trips the designers – Trina and Jonathan have made to Cuba over the last few years.
“We were mesmerized by the incredible architecture that has been preserved for so many decades. We took details of what we saw and apply them to our prints in the brilliant colors they use to paint their cars”, – Jonathan told me.
