For the last three months, I’ve been on the hunt for a job as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. I’ve applied to a bunch of jobs, but I haven’t heard back from anyone, not even from the entertainment company that I did two interviews with and an assignment for.
Although I will continue to apply for jobs, I have decided to invest my time and effort into creating more content, starting with my YouTube channel. I love creating content and want to showcase my production skills to demonstrate the value I can bring to your brand, small business, or company.
For my first makeup tutorial, I created a Cosmic makeup look inspired by the Flapper Makeup Masterclass from Isamaya Ffrench – which I wore for my birthday party in November. Make sure to watch the video to learn more about why I got into makeup and my experience as a content creator.
And if you want a summary of how I accomplished this fabulous look, here’s the step-by-step guide.
-
I usually start with L’Oreal True Match Foundation to cover the dark circles under my eyes. I apply it from the outside in, and I just blend it in with my fingers.
-
Using Urban Decay purple pencil, I drew outside my eyelids where I will create the purple shadows.
-
Next, using the Revolution Forever Flawless Constellation, I created the highlights of the eyes with the silver color.
-
Then, continuing with the Revolution palette, I used the purple shade to apply the eyeshadow on the outer part of my eye, and I just blended it.
-
After that, I applied a pink shadow with a slight shimmer to the outer top of my eyelid. I blended it with the purple to add more dimension and interest.
-
#ManchicProTip – Use paint tape to create a sharp and defined line in your makeup
-
Using a stencil, I created a geometric shape over my eye, covering my eyebrow. I used a flat paintbrush to apply the MAC Cosmetic’s Silver Pigment.
-
Then, with the help of NYX Glitter Primer, I applied Michael’s Bling Star Glitter on top of the purple eyeshadow with a tiny paintbrush.
-
Next, I applied Anastasia Beverly Hills brag lash mascara to bring out my eyes.
-
Finally, I sprayed Morphe Luminous Setting Spray to keep the makeup in place and shiny throughout the night.
What do you think of the final result? Not bad for first-timers, right!?
