One of the things I get compliments on most frequently is without a doubt my HAIR. People often tell me, and I quote: “dude, your hair is on point” “love your hair”, “your hair looks amazing”… Anyway, you get the idea. Surely it helps to have “good” and healthy hair, however, what will set you apart from the crowd is putting yourself into the hands of a great barber, furthermore using the right product. – Luckily I have both!
Back in May, I introduced you to V76 by Vaughn, created by celebrity hairstylist and editorial groomer, Vaughn Acord. Today, I would like to talk about the five products I like the most from his line. Hit it!
Control Balm Strong Hold
Use in short-to-medium length, thick hair to help style your hair with texture and firm definition, great for slick and tailored looks. Its consistency is sticky. Therefore, apply a modest amount. Otherwise, things can get awfully messy very fast.
Well Groomed Ultralight Cream
Best for all hair types but I endorse using this product if you have medium-to-long, thin hair. This lightweight cream leaves your hair manageable.
V Rated Natural Wax
My absolute favorite! Perfect for short-to-medium, thick hair. This wax performs like pomade without petroleum to create natural style with movement and slight shine. It also helps you to define and shape your hair easily. The blue cedar scent smells sensational. For all the bearded boys, here’s a trick, you can use it to tame your beard… – I bet you didn’t expect that, right?
Hydrator Hair & Face Mist
This ultra-fine spray is smooth and fresh. Ideal for anyone in need of a “pick-me-up”, just spray on hair and face anytime, day or night. – My tip, always carry it with you, if you’re feeling tired use to for a quick boost or spray it on your hair to control it after a long day at work.
Bar Soap
Suitable for all skin types, provides deep cleanse, at the same times purifies and detoxifies the skin, but even so it rinses easily. Smells fantastic, and it looks great too. – Surely a nice addition to your bathroom décor.
A little bird told me that they were adding more products to the line, and there’s even a re-branding strategy in the works, so stay tuned. In the meanwhile, I want to hear your thoughts on these products, leave your comments below.
