Did you know that I’ve always wanted to work doing Visual Merchandising? In my mind, I’m a super successful prop stylist who creates amazing installations, the kind you see in a luxury décor magazine or on a Pinterest board followed by thousands of people… Unfortunately, I’m not.
However, thanks to my abuelita’s infinity garden and the help of two of my more than 50 cousins (insert Mexican racist joke here) I created my first display, not too shabby right?
SIDENOTE: I’m not kidding when I say infinity. Seriously, who is she, a plants hoarder? She should totally have her own HGTV gardening show.
Anyway, where am I going with this? Oh yeah, I have a point. The point is I wanted to build something charming to show off these Stacy Adams floral shoes. Don’t you just love the contrast between the exquisite footwear and the prickly cactus? What about the pink background? Isn’t it surreal how the elements look detached from it? #floatingonpinkclouds
You should know by now that great footwear is KEY for making a good first impression. Like my mom says, “people always look at your shoes first.” Therefore, you should invest in high-quality pairs like these “summer” Stacy Adams… And before you roll your eyes, I already explained why you should wear flower prints for spring, so save it!
The thing I like the most about botanical prints this season is that they’re not longer confined to clothing alone. Printed shoes are the way to go if you want to make a bold statement without screaming look at me! (Said no blogger ever).
