Are you guys ready to celebrate Dallas Pride?!?!?! I know I am!!! This year Dallas Pride festivities are being held in June, official Pride month!!! Another change includes moving the Annual Dallas Pride Parade to Fair Park! Yes, this will be a little different! Yes, I will miss not being on The Strip! However, I’m keeping an open mind and looking forward to celebrating with my LGBTQ family MINUS long lines for libations and congested neighborhood streets!
Stonewall was a riot!!! Never forget that! This year marks its 50th anniversary. So listen
here…when celebrating your Pride this month, do so in honor of those who fought back that
early morning in June in 1969 at the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, NYC. These
disturbances were the catalyst against an anti-gay legal system and the birth of a movement toward equality for those in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. Equality! Love and not hate! Honor their legacy!
Activism aside, let’s talk about some of the events taking place this weekend! There are many to choose from! So, before coordinating your Pride garb, give a gander to my quick guide to worthwhile 2019 Dallas Pride events! All HOT!

Pride Is a Protest March
We know that The Stonewall riots were a significant milestone marking the beginning of the LGBTQ-rights movement, due in large part to the work of some amazing trans women of color. This year Dallas Pride Parade will be held at Fair Park a private, fenced-in facility visible only to those who are intentionally present there. Join Transgender Pride of Dallas to help bring visibility to those communities that are still suffering. March through the streets of downtown Dallas, through Deep Ellum, and right up to the gates of Fair Park where the Pride Parade begins. Sun, June 2nd, 2019. 11:30 AM at City Hall (1500 Marilla St, Dallas, Texas 75201) MORE INFO
Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade
The annual Pride parade returns to Dallas for the 36th year. The parade is always FREE to attend and watch. However, parking rates on the Fair Park grounds will be $10/car. Not allowed: outside food or drinks, alcohol, coolers, or drones. Sun, June 2nd, 2019. 2 PM Fair Park (1300 Robert B Cullum Blvd, Dallas, TX 75210) MORE INFO

Brüt Dallas Pride Closing Party
For the third year in a row, DJ Dan Darlington and the Brut boys are back to close up Dallas Pride festivities, giving the sexy men of the south their dose of NYC’s dirty beats. The energy will be dark, and the crowd will be red hot, so be prepared to sweat. Dance and burn the floor to an infectious and sexy sound.
