A few months ago the guys at Dr. Martens hooked me up with my first pair of “docs” and I couldn’t be happier with them… ‘Anthony’ is the name of the pair I chose – part of the limited MIE (Made in England) Collection.

These bad boys are made using hands-on craftsmanship identical to the methods first pioneered by DM’s fifty years ago; needless to say they’re unique and one of a kind.

I like the brilliant combination of black leather with the tiny dot silk, which allows you to dress them up or down… You can wear them pretty much with everything!  For that reason I call them ‘combat boots’, whether I’m going to the club or a fancy soiree; they definitely got my back.

As for the rest of my ensemble – to continue with my military inspired obsession, I kept it fun with my GQ x Gap Baldwin twill cargo pants yet simple with a solid navy blue blazer.
