Wearing white after Labor Day is no fashion faux pas anymore, especially for fall 2015. The head-to-toe ivory look comes in all shapes and sizes this season, from the oversized and sharp jumpsuit from Xander Zhou to the experimental KTZ all-white ensembles that referenced Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange.
But be careful on how you wear it! You don’t want to end up looking like a doctor or a Mafioso. The secret to successfully wear all white during chilly weather relies on the fabric. Heavier fabrics such as wool, denim, cashmere will bring your outfit up to the season.
Mix off-white shades such as cream, beige and ivory with textures and patterns to accomplish a fresh a modern ensemble. You can’t see it, but I’m actually wearing a mesh top, and the windbreaker & shorts have a subtle linear pattern. You didn’t see that coming, did you?
