Another New York Fashion Week: Men’s has gone by, I walked plenty of miles going from one show to the next presentation, facing humidity and rain in typical New York summer style. If that wasn’t enough to make me break a sweat, the boys backstage at Parke & Ronen Spring 2018 show definitely did the trick.
I mean it was kind of hard not to stare at the models’ ass-ets in those special anniversary trunks. Very clever guys! Male models such as Matt McGue #instacrush, Dougie Joseph, and Vito Basso kept things hot and heavy behind the scenes.

By now, Parke and Ronen’s multicolored designs have become a staple amongst contemporary gay men and this year, the designers – and friends of mine, celebrated two decades of itty-bitty swim briefs and laid back beach clothing with a collection that incorporated some of their greatest pieces with an assortment of new styles.
For SS18, the PR guy isn’t going to the beach or pool, instead, he’s going out camping at the lake. The inspiration comes from the lyrics of John Denver’s song Rocky Mountain High, and is represented by the use of soft colors, wildflowers, and their signature vintage graphics, which I LOVE!
Every season Parke & Ronen delivers and incredible collection with a clear point of view. Now that I’m becoming more outdoors-y, all of these pieces are just what I need to achieve that effortless, globetrotter look.
