If I’ve learned anything about New York City is that is the toughest yet the most awe-inspiring place on earth. Living in the city that never sleeps is a constant struggle; from the fast-paced lifestyle to competing against extremely ambitious individuals.
However, the city is full of incredible opportunities. I was able to take advantage of them and thanks to that, I was able to achieve significant goals. Someone else who knows about what New York has to offer is accident attorney Ivan Diamond.

Born in Brooklyn and raised in Manhattan, Mr. Diamond graduated from the New York public school system, went on to Brooklyn Law School and now has his practice in the Bronx. As true New Yorker, he takes great pride in his accomplishments, and he wants to give back to the community that helped him be the successful man he is today.
For that reason, he will award the NYC Born and Raised Scholarship to a student who was born and grew up in New York City and who wants to continue their education in the city. To be eligible for this $2,500 scholarship, students must be seniors at one of New York City’s high schools and must plan to attend college within New York City beginning in the fall semester of 2017.

The scholarship payment will be made directly to the award recipient’s school and is to be used exclusively for tuition and other educational expenses. How cool is that? – I kind of wish I was a New Yorker in high school. I might not be able to apply, but if you know a deserving student who may meet the requirements, you should let them about this amazing award.
Scholarship applications must be received by August 1st. They will announce the winner in mid-August. To learn more about the scholarship and apply, CLICK HERE.

Hurry up youngsters; you still have some time. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
