New York Fashion Week: Men’s kicked off its fifth season with emerging brands such as Descendant of Thieves and Life in Perfect Disorder showing for the first time during NYMD at Dune Studios. Personal favorite David Hart and my newest obsession Private Policy also presented their Spring 2018 collections.
I’m a very visual person, so watching how the show unveils and how ingenious the installations are, always inspires me. I’ve been creative since a very young age, and I guess that’s how I ended up studying graphic design.

Designing is one of my biggest passions, and I’m sad I don’t get to do it as often as I would like. However, thanks to this monthly playlist I’m able to go back to my roots and just create cool graphics. Plus curating these playlists for you is also fun.
As you can imagine, music is a fundamental part of a fashion show, and designers often bring Dj’s to craft a playlist for their show. This season, I paid close attention to the tunes the models were strutting on the runway, some I knew, others I was desperately Shazaming…
Carlos Campos, Matiere, and BenchBody brought the runway down with their playlists. However, I think I have a good ear for this, and I included some tunes I believe would be perfect for the catwalk, like Sunrise – Yuksek, Inside World – Detone Mix and Drinkee – Tukker.
What do you think? Should I add Dj to my resume?
